Ost device abnormal data collection

When abnormal visual effects occur on the OST device, please promptly save the screen recording of the anomaly and report it to the EasyAR technical support team.

Recording

Limitations of the OST device's screen recording function:

  1. Missing real-world view: The OST device's screen recording only captures the virtual content layer (GUI, 3D models, UI pointers, etc.).

  2. Environmental background loss: When replaying this video on a computer or mobile phone, you will see virtual objects against a pure black background, completely losing the context of the real environment.

  3. Virtual-real occlusion failure: If virtual objects should be occluded by real objects (such as your hand or a table), they will appear to float over a black screen in the recording, showing incorrect layering.

Suggested solution: If you need to record AR abnormal dynamics involving environmental interaction, please use a mobile phone or camera to shoot through the OST device lens.
