Capacity and quota expansion
This chapter briefly explains common expansion items, applicable scenarios, and operational recommendations in Mega services, helping you choose suitable expansion strategies and prepare necessary information based on business scale and project requirements.
Mainly includes:
- Additional cloud localization libraries
- Binding additional mapping projects
- Map capacity of a single cloud localization library
- Mapping capability expansion: input video duration and multi-map fusion
Create additional cloud localization libraries
When a single cloud localization service group requires more than the default number of localization libraries (standard: 5, trial: 1), you can apply for additional cloud localization libraries.
Currently, this type of expansion is primarily subject to manual review. Please contact an EasyAR consultant or sales representative to submit an application.
After approval, you can create and manage the newly added localization libraries in the management interface.
The creation and management interface is shown as follows:

Bind more mapping projects
If multiple mapping projects need to be linked to the same service group (e.g., projects divided by floors or regions but managed under a unified service group), you can apply to unlock additional association quotas.
After unlocking, the management interface will display the "+" button to add more projects, as shown below:

Note
Operational tip: Provide a list of projects to be bound and a usage description to facilitate permission evaluation and quota allocation.
Increase the map capacity of a single cloud localization library
A single cloud localization library has an upper limit on the number of Mega Blocks that can be added (example default limit: 4500).
If you need to exceed the default limit, please contact a business consultant and provide the following information for resource expansion evaluation:
- Expected total number of Mega Block CCs (EasyAR's proprietary capacity measurement unit)
- AppId of the target localization library
- Usage period and concurrency of the target localization library
After unlocking, you can directly add maps in the cloud localization library. Exceeding the capacity limit will trigger a color warning in the occupied capacity, as shown in the box below.

Extend mapping capabilities
A single mapping task has an upper limit on input video duration and the number of segments (example: up to 16 segments × 8 minutes), and a single project may have a default coverage area limit (example: 50,000 square meters).
For complex or large-scale scenes, it is generally recommended to:
- Divide the space into multiple mapping tasks by floors or regions;
- If multiple maps need to be merged, contact a consultant to apply for multi-map fusion permissions and support.
This type of extended mapping task (e.g., multi-map fusion, large-area mapping) requires approval and configuration by a consultant or sales representative.
