Record eif simulation data to reproduce issues with your app

When encountering visual anomalies in the application, besides submitting screenshots and screen-recordings of the issue, you must also provide eif data when reporting the problem to relevant developers.

Prerequisites

The app should have developer mode enabled, or implement eif recording functionality through in-app features.

Record eif

1. Quickly tap eight times on any blank area in the center of the screen to trigger a new pop-up window.

   

Note

This operation only applies to apps using default configurations with developer mode enabled. If custom switches or other recording methods are used, follow the corresponding procedure.

2. Click the rec button in the eif row to start recording.

   

3. After the abnormal phenomenon reappears, click the stop button in the eif row to end recording.
