How to export EIF files

After recording EIF data, you need to export it. The file export method is as follows:

Android devices

Export via windows computer
Export via mac computer

Complete the connection between the device and the computer.
Read the device's local files.
EIF file path:
Recorded by MegaToolbox: Android/data/com.easyar.mega.toolbox/files/MegaStudio/FrameStream
Recorded by head-mounted device or your app: Android/data/“your package name”/files/
Select the corresponding data file and perform the export operation.

Install ADB tools on Mac

If you haven't installed ADB yet, it's recommended to use Homebrew for quick installation:
```
brew install --cask android-platform-tools
```
Tip: If you don't have Homebrew installed, you can also directly download the Platform Tools zip package from the Android developer website, unzip it, and drag the adb file into the terminal for use.
Enable debugging mode on the phone

Go to the phone's "Settings" -> "About phone".

Tap "Build number" 7 times consecutively until prompted that developer mode is enabled.

Return to the settings interface, enter "System" -> "Developer options".

Find and enable "USB debugging".
Export the folder via ADB

Connect the phone to the Mac using a data cable, unlock the phone screen, and click "OK" in the "Allow USB debugging?" dialog box that pops up.

Step 1: Check connection status, enter the following command in the terminal:
```
adb devices
```
If the device serial number and the word device are displayed, the connection is successful.

Step 2: Execute the export command, pull the target folder from the phone to the Mac desktop:
```
adb pull /sdcard/Android/data/com.easyar.mega.toolbox/files/MegaStudio/FrameStream ~/Desktop/FrameStream_Export
```
Note: The storage path for EIF files recorded by head-mounted devices and self-developed apps: Android/data/“your package name”/files/

Note

Permission issue: If the command prompts Permission Denied, it is usually because the app has set "no backup" in the manifest file. However, this method usually succeeds in debug mode for most non-system-level apps.
Path verification: If prompted that the path does not exist, please confirm whether /sdcard/ in the path is correct. Some devices may require changing it to /storage/emulated/0/.

Prerequisites:

Install iTunes software on your windows computer.

Export steps:

Connect your phone to the computer and perform authorization.

Click the phone icon.
Click file-sharing.
Find the MegaStudio folder under MegaToolbox app.
Click save (wait patiently when files are large; ensure all files are fully exported).
