Migrate to the new version mapping service
Migrating to the new version mapping service is a feature that allows users to upgrade to the latest mapping version based on original data while preserving the original coordinate system. Through cross-version upgrades, users can complete cross-version upgrades and optimizations of mapping data without affecting existing application layouts.
Applicable scenarios
- Version upgrade: Use original mapping video files to perform cross-version upgrades of the map based on the original coordinate relationships, without requiring additional data uploads.
Supported mapping types
- ✅ Single-image mapping task: Supports mapping version upgrades
- ✅ Multi-image fusion task: Supports mapping version upgrades
- ❌ Mobile collection mapping: Does not support mapping version upgrades (including small-scale mobile collection tasks and object mobile collection tasks)
Supported mapping versions
- Version 7.6 and above
Main advantages
- Coordinate system consistency: Maintains the original scene coordinate system unchanged, ensuring seamless integration of existing AR content data.
- Efficiency improvement: No need to re-collect original data; upgrades are based on existing data.
- Smooth upgrade: After upgrading, the original Block can be directly replaced without requiring coordinate adjustments on the application side.
