Introduction to Mega Toolbox (App)
EasyAR Mega Toolbox is a mobile efficiency toolkit designed to work with EasyAR Mega. It aims to bridge the final gap between "real-world scenarios" and "digital development," providing developers with on-site data collection, localization validation, and remote debugging support. In the EasyAR Mega workflow, Mega Toolbox serves as an on-site "tester" and "collector," supporting operation across multiple platforms including iOS, Android, and WeChat Mini Programs. With this tool, developers can achieve high-precision spatial data capture and algorithm validation without frequently carrying a computer.
Core value
Zero-code verification: Test the positioning accuracy of cloud-based maps directly on your phone without writing a single line of code.
Closed-loop collection pipeline: Supports data feedback from small-scale mobile collection to large-scale spaces.
Offline simulation support: Enables an offline simulation mode of "on-site recording, remote development" by recording EIF files.
On-site localization testing and feedback data recording

After map construction is completed, this module is used to verify the stability and accuracy of localization in real-world environments.
On-site localization testing: Connect to the EasyAR Mega cloud service to monitor real-time localization success rates, latency, and 6DoF pose accuracy in the current environment.
Localization feedback recording: When encountering localization failures or drift, record raw sensor data from the current scene for feedback to the official team or technical support for algorithm optimization.
Record EIF test data for remote development simulation positioning

Designed specifically to improve development efficiency, addressing the pain point of "having to be on-site for development."
EIF data recording: Records on-site camera video streams, IMU data, and sensor information into MKVEIF format files.
Remote simulation development: Developers can import EIF files into the Unity editor to simulate real on-site environments for content placement, UI debugging, and interaction testing, significantly reducing the time cost of field testing.
EasyAR Mega mapping data collection (mobile mapping)

This module is mainly used to obtain spatial feature data of the real world, which is the foundation for building Mega Blocks (map tiles).
Mobile mapping collection: suitable for small indoor spaces (such as stores and exhibition halls), using the mobile phone camera and sensors to quickly collect feature point data and upload it to the Mega engine for mapping.
Collection route assistance: provides real-time feedback during the collection process to ensure coverage and data quality of the shooting trajectory.
