Simulation data recording tool
The EIF test data recording tool is a core component in Mega Toolbox for remote development. It records the original camera image stream and IMU sensor data on-site, generating simulation files that can be replayed in the Unity editor.
Process of recording EIF data
Enter the EIF recording interface

Name the EIF file

Enter the file name
Example: Enter meiluocheng2 to represent the data of the 2nd floor of Meiluo City.
Confirmation: Click the Enter button to proceed to the recording interface.
Note
Follow the naming convention: Use only English letters and numbers (do not include Chinese characters or special symbols).
Record EIF

- Exit the current page (if recording EIF, ensure to click the stop button first).
- Key device information (displayed as: Input source (tracking status)).
- Start/stop recording EIF data.
Note
After naming the file and entering the camera startup interface, do not click the "Start Recording" button at the bottom immediately.
First, point the camera at a nearby area with rich textures to complete system initialization and calibration.
Wait until the tracking status in the panel parameters shows Tracking, then lift the phone to aim at the target area for recording and click the "Start Recording" button.

After starting recording, the interface will look like the above:
- Recording time.
- Name of the recorded file.
Note
Recording scope: Limit to the pre-mapped area, focusing on covering verification points for recognition effectiveness.
Viewing angle requirements: Simulate the user's perspective; avoid sudden large turns or prolonged focus on texture-less areas.
Duration limit: A single recording should be less than 10 minutes.
End operation: After recording, click the stop button at the bottom.
Stop recording EIF
Click the red square button to stop recording.
