Data simulation tool

The EIF test data recording tool is a core component of the Mega Toolbox for remote development. It records raw camera image streams and IMU sensor data from the field to generate simulation files that can be replayed in the Unity Editor.

Enter the EIF recording interface

Name the EIF file

Fill in file name

Enter file name

Example: Entering "meiluocheng2" represents the 2nd floor data of Meiluo City.

Confirm entry: Click the Enter button to proceed to the recording interface.

Note

Follow specifications: Names must use only English letters and numbers (do not include Chinese characters or special symbols).

  1. Exit current page (if recording EIF, ensure to click the stop button first)

  2. Key device information (displayed as: Input source (Tracking status))

  3. Record/stop recording EIF data

Note

After completing file naming and entering the camera startup interface, do not click the "Start Recording" button at the bottom immediately.
First, aim the camera at a close-up texture-rich area to complete system initialization calibration.
After the panel parameters show Tracking status, lift the phone to aim at the target test area, then click the "Start Recording" button.

After starting recording, the interface appears as above:

  1. Recording duration

  2. Recorded filename

Note

Recording scope: Limited to pre-mapped areas, focusing on covering verification points.
Viewing angle requirement: Simulate user perspective; avoid drastic rotation or prolonged aiming at textureless areas.
Duration limit: Single recording must be less than 10 minutes.
End operation: After recording completes, click the stop button at the bottom.
